Before you can get started, you’ll need a few things: a tile brush, a cleaning solution that is natural and not chemical, some towels, a squeegee, baking soda, and a rinse cup.
Begin on the Opposite Side
Look at where the showerhead is. Then look at the wall on the opposite side of where the showerhead points – that’s where you should start cleaning. Spray all of the walls with the cleaning solution, not just the one opposite the showerhead. Scrub with circular motions to make sure you cover every part of the wall and you don’t miss any spots.
Use Baking Soda
Now it’s time to clean the tub if it’s a combination tub and shower setup that you need to clean. Spread baking soda around in the tub. By spreading the baking soda, you can rid of the yuck that has accumulated on the tub. Use circular motions with your brush to make sure that all of the baking soda gets worked into the tub.
Rinse and Dry
Now the time has come to rinse and dry everything. Rinse the walls and tub using the rinse cup after filling it with some water from the faucet in the tub. Then, use the squeegee to help speed up the drying time and avoid the buildup of hard water spots. Then use the drying towels to help finish the job.
